Description
Universal mycorrhiza SYMBIVIT® is a high quality product created from selected strains of mycorrhiza fungi that occur in nature. They have been selected to benefit the plants after application. It is ideal for ornamental plants such as roses, thujas or geraniums but also for fruit and vegetable plants.
How does Mikoryza Symbivit work?
Mycorrhiza Symbivit mycorrhiza fungi, when applied directly to the root system, combine with trichomonads and provide the plants with nutrients and other substances that they previously could not take by themselves. This is because fungi have the ability to convert various types of compounds that are not assimilable to plants into easily assimilable ones. The result of such cooperation is faster and better growth of both the plant and the root system. This leads to the roots reaching for water in deeper parts of the soil profile.
The plant also helps mycorrhiza fungi to function better. For example, it provides them with products from photosynthesis (e.g. glucose), which mycelium strains cannot produce by themselves. Thanks to such cooperation, the plant and mycorrhizal fungi are healthier, have better growth and resistance.
Advantages of using SYMBIVIT® mycorrhiza
Better nutrition, yielding, growth and resistance of plants
Reduce watering and fertilizer use
Improved taste and size of fruit and vegetables
Better resistance to drought and other stresses
Improving planting acceptance
SYMBIVIT® mycorrhiza is designed for:
fruit trees (apple trees, pear trees, cherries, walnuts)
fruit shrubs (currants, gooseberries, chokeberries, etc.)
vine
most decorative conifers (tuja, yew, juniper, cypress)
some ornamental trees and shrubs (maple, ash, rowanberry)
vegetables (tomato, bell pepper, cucumber, leek, garlic)
flowers (roses, geraniums, verbena, balcony flowers)
Not suitable for: coniferous trees like pine, spruce, fir, and some deciduous trees like oak, birch, beech use Ectovit mycorrhiza. Use Rhodovit for plants of the heather family (rhododendron, heather, blueberry, cranberry) and Turfcomp for lawn.
Dosage and application of Mycorrhiza Symbivit
Symbivit mycorrhiza can be used in two ways
During planting the plant - by soaking the roots in a prepared gel or by sprinkling a hole with powder. Soaking the roots is the most effective way, because we cover the whole surface of the roots thoroughly, giving the mycorrhiza an immediate opportunity to develop. One 150 g pack is enough to apply to about 30 flowering plant seedlings (e.g. balcony flowers) or 40 tomato seedlings or 20 vine seedlings or 15 apple tree seedlings with open roots.
Application directly to the roots - deep with a mycorrhiza applicator:
EXAMPLE: 150 g pack after grinding gives 1.5 l of ready suspension which is enough for:
22 plants with a very small root system (up to 0.3 l in volume), when injected it gives about 70 ml of suspension per plant
11 plants with a small root system (up to 1 l volume), at injection this gives about 140 ml of suspension per plant
4 plants with a moderately expanded root system (up to 3 l volume), at injection this gives about 375 ml of suspension per plant
3 plants with a root system of up to 5 l, this gives about 500 ml per plant when injected
2 plants with a highly developed root system with a volume of about 10 l, at injection this gives about 750 ml per plant
As it is difficult to determine the size of the root system in already existing plantings, we propose to accept:
fruit shrubs 1 year - volume of 3 liters
fruit trees 1 year - volume of 5 liters
2-year-old fruit shrubs - volume of 5 liters
fruit trees + tuje 2-3 years old volume of 10 liters
for all trees over 5 years old, we recommend a double dose as for a 10 liter root system
Gel preparation
The package contains a powder which should be dissolved in 1.5 l of water.
Important! Avoid using systemic fungicides for the first 3 weeks after application, as they may harm mycorrhiza. Dose chemical fertilizers carefully to avoid the risk of overdose (mycorrhizal fungicides convert nitrogen into ammonium form and make 70% more phosphorus available to plants). Shelf life is 2 years. The gel must be used within one day of preparation.
Composition of Symbivit mycorrhiza
Clay as a carrier, 6 types of mycorrhizal fungi, natural starter fertilizers for mycorrhiza, extract from algae and other marine organisms, biodegradable hydrogel. The product contains only naturally occurring fungi and is not genetically modified, leaves no chemical residues in the soil.
